Sara is a thirty-six-year veteran in seniors  care, from  a teenage volunteer in a retirement home to a free-lance senior management trainer. As she said at the end of her working career, "Retirement wasn’t an option for me. I knew in my heart I could still help one more family and hold one more hand".

Lucy Cardile has for nearly three decades been an executive assistant to three different City of Vaughan council members.  Getting answers to citizen enquiries, pointing them in the right direction, resolving issues - those are all part of the job for her. As a volunteer, she’s worked for several local community-based organizations.

Tony is a resident of Woodbridge since 1982, represented Ward 2/Woodbridge West for 22 years on Vaughan City Council. A writer, editor, and teacher, he is currently Director of Community Engagement at The Vitanova Foundation the addiction recovery centre founded by his late wife Franca in 1987.

With over 32 years of experience in the not-for-profit field, Sunder has an enviable record of identifying needs and developing resources for women in terms of immigration, settlement, and employment.  When the City of Vaughan needed to fill a vacancy on its council, it was no surprise that Sunder was the choice.

Margaret Tersigni is a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of clinical leadership experience, providing compassionate care in a range of healthcare settings. An advocate for gerontology, Margaret has served as the Director of Care at Villa Colombo Vaughan, and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with The Centre for Memory and Aging. 

Tony has been a fixture in the Italian community for decades—through his participation, if not leadership, in a range of not-for-profit initiatives of every sort. His career testifies to the importance of both diversity and inclusion as building blocks of a strong Canada. 

Nicole Troiani is the founder and executive director of a home and community care organization serving pediatric and older adult clients. She is passionate about healthy aging modeling Seniors Focus’s mission in her day-to day career, and looks forward to creating meaningful connections between our clients and the service providers they seek.

Angela had a nearly forty year long working career in public service at multiple levels municipal, regional and provincial, as well as long stints in the private sector both in law and real estate. Helping citizens navigate the system-to connect them to services they need, is all but second nature to her.

Active in undergraduate student leadership at his alma mater, York University, Dalu later earned a Master of Health Sciences degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in health care administration. That led to his being named the director of strategic initiatives at a Vaughan-based charity.
